M3 CSL wheels on an M-sport coupe (E46)

Would genuine 19", M3 CSL wheels fit on a 318Ci M-Sport coupe without modification?

It's not for my car, but I know someone claiming he fitted a pair for £400 ("ask no questions") all in including the Michelin Pilot cups.

I have seen plenty of fake CSL wheels fitted to E46's, they nearly alway have the same wheels front and back. The genuine CSL's are deeper on the back wheels.

I would immagine a 318 is going to struggle just turning the wheels around, let alone moving the car along as well !!! ;-)

Thanks. I knew they wouldn't be real but he's insistent. So, the rear track / chassis set up is totally different obviously on a CSL / non CSL car?

And M non M cars. Your friend has a M Sport which is trim level and nothing to do with proper M cars.

Hell no! I'm aware mine is not even close to being a proper M-Car just a trim level like you say. My mate no longer has his but always talks about it when he sees me with mine.

The only genuine E46 M3 CSL wheels that will fit a standard E46 are a set of 4 front wheels.

Genuine E46 M3 CSL rear wheels won't fit as the wheel offset is wrong (standard E46 offset is around 41, E46 M3 rear wheel offset is 26/27)
