Got 43 mpg from my 325d auto convertible over 160 miles doing around 70 mph what do u reckon I thought it was good.

I achieved 38 mpg over 90 miles at 70 mph in my 2001 330ci.

not particularly brilliant but it's certainly not bad. my dads E46 330d manual (6 speed) used to get more than that though, and that was a 3.0 ..........

Managed to get 36.4 MPG in my e30 325i in an 800 mile round trip from Milton keynes to glasgow to edinburgh and back to Mk in September speeds varying but mainly 80-90mph most the way there and back.

I've seen 52mpg out of my E46 330d over a 600 mile round trip. I was almost embarassed about it

At a constant 70MPH i get 44.5MPG in my 335d

Used to average 30 mpg in my re-mapped 330d auto so thought low 40's was good for an auto convertible, auto's are allways worse arent they? Managed to get 60 mpg according to display in a e46 330d manual at 50 mph once driving like a fairy.
