Do you know this 530D?

Its a long shot - but does anyone on here know a mystic blue 530d, with one of the registrations below?

I am looking at it to buy and concerned that it has had a fair few previous owners and there may be bad news burried somewhere!

T40 GES

H4 TKT


Any info would be very much appreciated.

Why not have the car independantly inspected? trying to find people who may have owned it in the past isn't really going to help you in anyway or form.

Have a little research into the common issues with these cars and know of them when looking and asking about the car.

If it all checks out, consider purchasing

I had considered an independant inspection - with the theory if the seller ducks or declines the request then there is hidden history that they are aware of.

I am no fool around cars, and can certainly check the basics, but the car has had 8 previous keepers in 8 years so that does beg a few questions.

I was hoping that perhaps if some one who had owned the car and had issues they may have been on this forum and asked for help...

However - the car looks good, has not seen paint and is at a sensoble price.

i would be a bit sus about 8 owners in as many years, there not the sort of cars that change hands regularly.
i would expect the first owner (company) maybe have had it 3 years, then maybe another 2 or 3 private owners.
i know some cars can be lemons with re-occuring problems, these may change hands often as the owners getting fed up with spending on them.

if it were me, i would look at others in a/t pistonheads, there are loads for sale and there a difficult car to sell, very small market for these big old cars now, diesel will sell quicker than petrol though.
shop around and you may find a gem!
