Does anyone know a good leather repair place that can reapair the leather on my X3?

The car comes with heated seats and while this was on it burned a small hole in the leather, I was told by BMW that I would need the whole back leather bit replaced at a cost of about £450 plus vat. That quoted price is a bit expensive, so wanted to know if i can get this reapired cheaper somewhere else.

I'm based in Surrey but don't mind travelling if I'm going to save money.

Thanks.

Sticks.

No. But I believe the saddler near me has/used to do some work on cars too, though mostly classic and no idea of the cost I'm afraid. Still, it might be worth finding one locally and asking. Suspect matching leather will be the hardest part.

I only know of the one that was recommended to me when I was working down in London.

Benchmark Leather Renovation is one of two surviving Connolly Leather trained craftsmen (the other is the one I use in Warrington called Leathercare Renovations).

Cost me about £100 to have a side bolster reconnollised and some scratches touched up.
