Fuel tanks leak and are megabucks to replace. They go around the seam at the edges. Basically only other real issue is suspension bushes. Thye are heavy beasts so these need to be replaced periodically.
Also they can have radiator issues where the radiaitor neck can break by going brittle. Other than that dive in. Fantastic cars. Try and get a sport if you can. Looks so much better with 18inch wheels and sport interior. Ride is suprisingly good for such a huge barge.
Fill your boots.

- hardest part is finding out what to look for - we've solved that now wink

- second hardest part is finding a car that is close to perfect

Was going to sell it a while back but changed my mind - I'll put up with the jiggly ride and run it into the ground like I do with most of my cars

good cars, just watch out for leaky fuel tanks, there steel and rust quite bad, very expensive to fix.

I run a 740 Sport and have been very pleased with it. In addition to the other comments made, the Aux fan resistors go and therefore the Air con will not work. I found an OEM part for 200 quid.

www.ultimate7.co.uk has some very nice examples
