How many people can say THAT? Well, 500. And maybe a few more that bought one second hand. But not that many.

Is that because everyone else bought a 330i instead? hehe

What do you reckon to it? I see a 320d with similar wheels to the si on, on my morning drive. Rarely see an si round here

Probably did, but the 320si is so much more fun, one of my favourites from BMW, one of their best ever.

Only if they had another 7K or so up their sleeves, as the 320Si was around £25K, the 330i M Sport £32K.

Do you have to put everyone down who has something better than you?

So 2 litres is better than 3 litres then now?

I always thought you get what you pay for!

Although nowadays with the price of petrol its people with smaller engines who have their head screwed on right.

I have always prefered bigger engines personally...but the OP`s motor does look nice & i love the rarity value of it.

No pics yet, pick it up on Saturday so I'll post some then.

It's actually my second BMW in a week after I bought a 325i which then proceeded to break down 3 days after I bought it. Took it back to the dealer and bought this - much happier with this one to be fair. Handles brilliantly, and as previously stated the rarity value of it's nice.

330i might be nice but it'll cost you a lot more to get round than me, and there are a lot more around! Both are nice cars though. Weird having a BMW having had a Fiesta 1.6TDCi for the last 3 years

My point was that Fox very regularly snipes at others choice of cars. There was no call for a 'oh everyone buys the 3.0i' type comment, particularly as there was such a massive price differential when new.

Like yourself i'd fancy the Si from the rarity aspect. wink

Yes, that absolutely motivated my jovial response to him saying 'How many people can say that'. Totally. Well done.

I'm off to the Porsche forum to put them all done now, back later.

Would love to know how you get on with it. The reviews seem to suggest it punches above its (170bhp) weight. I have a bit of soft spot for them.cloud9

Are you for real? I wasn't laughing it his car, the 320Si is a cracking car. I made a humerous retort and picked a smiley to illustrate the fact I was joking.

Did somebody piss in your cornflakes this morning?

He did nothing of the sort, he realised what I really meant and went on to comment about how nice the 320Si is.

You just went off on one.
