Z4 2.5 Roadster wanted!

Hi all,

i am after a 2003-2004 2.5 Z4 roadster with no more than 60k miles. Interested in most things although would prefer a car with the upgraded 18 inch wheels. Willing to pay up to 7.5k.

Just a quick question, have you tried a 3.0?, I tried both the 2.5 and 3.0 and once I had tried the 3.0, I was hooked. Check out my profile pic, I paid just over £8k from a NF dealer, full BMWSH. Good luck.

Hi mate,

no i havent tried the 3 litre as i think the insurance would be too much. Im only 20 and for the 2.5 my cheapest quote is just over 1k which i actually didnt think was too bad!

Right just checked insurance and it goes up from 1.1k for the 2.5 to 4 k for the 3.0! I think il be happy with the 2.5!!

i have a 2.5 z4 and it a great car, been in the 3.0, its a bit quicker but for everyday use, i didnt see much difference, mpg is about the same but thats a big jump in the cost of insurance for you.

Fair comment, would make no sense for that much difference. The 2.5 is still fantastic anyway, leather was an option so was automatic hood on the 2.5, I would say IMO these are the 2 features to look out for.
