No satellite radio service in the UK - do you mean DAB?

Yes, as mentioned, there's no Satellite Radio available in the UK which is highly annoying as I found it a real pleasure to use whenever I'm in the USA!

when the UK phone networks roll out 4G, hopefully it'll be capable enough to tune into internet radio stations that are streaming digital or high quality sourced material in at the very least 128kb/sec format !

Until then, it's only DAB for the UK..

Cheers, Dennis!

It's doable now really, 3G plan and coverage permitting. I hooked up my iPad the aux input on my wife's Z4 last Sunday on the way back up from Manchester to Durham and using 3G we listened most of the way back to a variety of stations from the USA. We lost the stream once every 20 mins or so in a two and half hour journey which was not bad really, we just had to wait for it to rebuffer which only takes 10 or 15 seconds.

Hiya,

That's a possibility ! I'm just concerned with the stream being 'relative' low quality at source and the bandwidth of the 3G connection as I like as high fidelity as I can, might have to give what you've done a try though!

Cheers, Dennis!
