Connecting an iPhone 4 in a Z4

Just wondering if anyone has any info on this? I recently purchased a 2010 ex-demo z4 with Connectivity Pack. I was really sold on the fact that I could connect my iPhone 4 via the cradle in the armrest storage and use for Bluetooth Handsfree, with signal boost, and then play the albums through the stereo.
The BMW website states that it will connect to the stereo, and all the accessory cradles show the iPhone installed and refers to "a sturdy and secure docking system for current Apple... mobile phones". Called my local dealer today for a cradle and they told me it wasn't yet developed. I thought that can't be right, as its on the website, so I called BMW UK. They also confirmed that there is no docking system!!!
So the question (other than the obvious misrep issue by BMW) is how are others connecting their iPhones please?
