Hi My wifes 2000 Z3 2.8 drives really sluggish and sometimes cuts out when accelerating from a stand still (need to keep revs high) it was serviced 2000 miles ago inspection 2. any thoughts ?

No warning light I take it?

dirty/broken MAF sensor?

vacuum leak?

collapsed catalytic converter?

coilpacks failed?

No warning lights but mpg down to 18-20
