Sorry,

I'm sure this one's come up before, but I can't find on the internet a correct answer to putting these lights out (it's the brake fluid one for me at the mo). I can get the service triangle up on the display, but I can't get any further than that.

Perhaps the correct sequence of button pressing is dependent on model.

Just to be clear, mine is a 535D 2007 facelift model.

Thanks in anticipation!

Tim

Are you doing it thru Idrive? Holding the trip reset button down until the traingle appears? When it does that just let go and press the button again for the reset option, you will then need to maybe press it once more for conformation.

What are you trying to do? Reset and turn off the brake fluid chime? Have you changed the fluid yourself?

There is a way of turning off and resetting the services with the trip stalk, I'll find the details.

Err, I'm not doing it via I-drive. I'm pressing the trip reset on the instrument binnacle. I have had the fluid changed by I friend. Should I be doing something in the I-drive menu?

All the bits I've found on the internet seem to talk about the trip reset, and I assumed they meant on the clocks, not in the I-drive??

Every time I release the trip reset the display where the date and temp are revert back from the triangle with the exclamation mark back to the date.

Thanks both in anticipation of your assistance.
