Can anybody with a N52 engined 325i/525i do me a favour?
Discussion
Hi Guys,
I currently drive an N52 engined 2006 2.5i Z4 with the 177bhp engine. Now the only difference between the 177bhp 2.5i and the 214bhp 2.5si (also found in the 325i) is the intake manifold and mapping.
I've got a well known remapping specialist who's going to compare the software differences for me for the stock 2.5i and 2.5si to see where the extra power comes from when the manifold is installed (possibly something encrypted deeper in the ECU as apposed to standard air/fuel, cam timing etc.).
Now he's having abit of trouble identifying the base 2.5si/325i software from the BMW disc - due to the amount of different engines which use the same siemens ECU. Therefore I require the software code for the 214bhp N52 engine, it's located on a sticker on the ECU. The sticker has your VIN/chassis number and three 7 digit codes, I don't need the vin number, just the three 7 digit numbers after it. I've circled the sticker here (The ECU in the photo is no good as it from a US 325i which is actually a 3.0)...
If anybody can have a look at their ECU and get this for me it would be much appreciated.
If anybody can get me the code i'll throw £20 beer money your way via paypal for your efforts!

Thanks
