Given that they seem to have closed the E30Zone forum for good, does the collective know of a good alternative?

Not for me. It's a DNS error, so not just a quick bit of downtime.

I can access it fine which suggests it's a problem with your ISPs DNS server or your PC. Try going to http://84.45.115.78

I get the front page using the IP but none of the links are relative (rolleyes) so they don't work.

the .co.uk fails even quicker than the .net

You seem to also be suggesting that this isn't a permanent closure, despite appearances.

I've posted and sent PMs today - it's working. You may need to wait for your ISPs DNS to update.

Or try this: start --> run --> cmd and then type ipconfig /flushdns

Changed DNS to OpenDNS and it's working. I don't run cached DNS so the flush isn't relevent.

Looking through the main forum on there it seems this was actually planned, not a failure (or closure like it seemed).

Yep .net isn't working for me, .co.uk is. Except the 'login' link goes to the .net domain. Doh.

eta, The numpties haven't created the www record yet.

Thought I would quickly sign up and let you know whats up with the E30 zone...

On Sunday the 27th, the zone server was switched off and moved to a new location, through out the last week it has been updated and checked etc etc and has been switched back on today 8th march. Although a few people are still having a few issues getting on, it is currently up and running perfectly fine.

If you are having troubles logging on, try;
