E60 Sport Window Trim

Not been able to find what I want via search function so hoping for some guidance.

I have an E60 M Sport, the window trims on which I have not properly cleaned for too long. They now look pretty dreadful - very flat and marked. Looking around it seems most other M Sport trim cars I see are similarly affected.

Anyone managed to clean/restore them back to looking good again?

If so how? Any tips on methods/products?
