New X5 advice

Hi there

Im after some advice for my dad, he has just ordered a new X5 which should be here May. He has heard somewhere that he might do better deleting the sports suspension he has ordered and having standard suspension as its not as hard/harsh.

Has anyone heard of this or have any expierences of this?

M Sport Suspension deleted on mine (no cost option) for that very reason. Stuck with the standard 19 inch wheels instead of the blingers too. Noticably more compliant than the demonstrator with the M Sport suspension and more suited to the car IMHO.

At the minute he has ordered the m-sports suspension and the 20 inch M-sport wheels.

We have the M Sport suspension and 20" wheels and find the ride to be fine. Clearly softer suspension and smaller wheels will improve the ride but I think the S'port set up is a pretty good compromise.
