Hello everyone.

Can anyone please help me. I want to put a set of 17" Lenso BSX on my e30 cab. I wanted to know whats the widest wheel width i can go for? Id like to have a nice deep lip on the front and the rear but i dont knwo what to order and where from.

My car currently has a set of 17 inch Khan rims with a 40 mm drop (how i bought it), id like to go a bit lower to 60mm and have them sitting nicley on the 17inch Lenso's

Has anyone had any experience with these wheels? width and lowering info would very much appreciated.

Thanks guys!!

A 60mm drop is going to throw your camber, especially the rear, well out of spec and you will suffer serious wear on the inside edges of the rear tyres and seriously impede handling, ride and traction, and on top of this a E30 convertble does not have the stiffest of structures too low and stiff will result in cracks in the frame, sooner or later .

Wheel width wise, are your rear arches modded/rolled?

Oh ok i see, my arches have been prefessionaly rolled back by the previous owner.

theres quite a gap between wheel and arch though so i just wanted to minimise this and have that low look.

my friend has lowered his 60mm using shocks and springs and has 17inch rh toplines fitted with no issues? so i assumed it was ok as long as the rim size didnt exceed 17"

Do you know the width recomended to go for then?

Thanks for your help.

Harms if you what to go for the look over the drive then fine, I prefer the drive on max 16" wheels on a convertible E30.

Off the top of my head I think you can get a 8x17 Et20 on, anything over a 215 tyre on the front may rub on lock on the inner arches.

How does your car look at the moment, any pictures?

ETA are the wheels you want actually available in 4x100 in 17"? I don't think thye are but this is not gospel.

5x120 PCD, so unless you have E30M3 front struts/hubs assemblies on your car they will not fit.
