Hello All

I was wondering if I could get some of you to give me some advice.

As I dont like car dealers (last car got stolen from one). I am thinking about getting my next car from one of the BMW Group auctions. I was just curious to know if anyone else has done the same and if so how did they find it?

Any messages back will be most grateful.

BMW Group Auctions are open to the public and British Car Auctions hold one about once a month. Prices are not that great - BMW dealers all get a BCA catalogue sent, they send a buyer along to hoover up a few cars and they pay good money. It's the easiest way for them to get 4-5 or more cars in one hit and there are very few bargains. A lot of them are finance repossesions, often with damage. Most cars have scrapes, dings, kerbed wheels etc - not many perfect cherished minters there, but if you accept that they're used cars and pay accordingly, you'll be okay.
Stratstone seem to sell the cheapest AUC BMW's so you'll need to have some printouts of a couple of their stock lists, and see what BCA are selling stuff for.

Sorry Kent. I did not mean to cause any offense. Just have had so many problems with them over my last Car it makes me sick going in to one now.

Cheers Touring. I will bear this in mind before I go up.
