Morning all

I've got the push button start keyfob on my E60 and the lock button has packed up, which is a right pain in my arse!

Spoke to BMW who want roughly 160 for the remote itself and half hour coding it, which is too steep for me, so wondered about buying one off eBay and getting someone to code it for me.

Could I buy a second hand one and get that coded to my car? Not too sure how this all works.

What happened to getting a key cut and voilà???
