Someone has smashed my rear lens cover. Any recommendations on where to get a replacement other than going to BMW directly? Not sure if it is possible to purchase just the lens cover? I've seen this so far:

I have a pair of E90 rear lights you're welcome to, Edit, just noticed yours is facelift so no help, sorry. Light is a complete unit i'm afraid. Main dealer if the usual breakers don't have one. Have you tried FAB Recycling?

Thanks for the responses. I'll call a main dealer tomorrow and brace myself. I'll try FAB recycling too. On a positive note I was surprised how easy the unit was to remove.

Update. Called one dealaer, Stratstone, who quoted £186. They gave me a part number of 6321 7289 426. I called another dealer, sytner, who quoted the same price but wouldn't give me the part number.

Now here's the confusing part, well for me at least. I looked here:

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=PP52...

A number of part numbers are listed. The ones I've seen on eBay and here in the classified are simply E90 LCI rear lights. Will they fit? Or do I have to stump up £120 (£50-£60 delivered from ebay) or so extra for the '6321 7289 426' from the dealer?

As far as I knew, before having to investigate, there were LCI and pre-LCI rear lights and that was that.

Any help appreciated.

Your ebay link lists the part # that the dealer has given you, so should be fine.

Thanks. It also lists the 'other' part number, so I'm hoping that is inferring that despite the different part numbers there is only one LCI rear light 'unit'.

That is the way it looks on Realoem.
