British Superbikes - Thruxton
Discussion
Ive just looked online and tickets are priced as follows:
Saturday (practise) - £7 online, £8 on the day
Sunday (racing) - £16 online, £18 on the day
Im very tempted to go, just to get some action shots. Does anyone know if this circuit is any good for photography? Im guessing if im in the main grandstand, its pretty pathetic - what strings would i need to pull to get a pass to roam around the edge of the track (behind the barriers, obviously) to get some shots?
Cheers
Dave

I enjoy watching there...Its a long circuit , however spectating is close enough for photography with a reasonable camera.. It's a bit like Castle Combe if anything with the return leg back to start line esses running up towards the Grandstand. Great views of late braking action on what is deamed to be the fastest circuit in the country.
Another bonus, being in Hampshire is that the ride to the circuit is always fun.
