Well guys I decided to go for a jaunt upto loch Lomond on the bike the other night with my mate on the back (check my blog for full details www.bu5t4.com/b2/ ).

Well the way it went was I was doing about 0-5 mph coming up to a bend with a sign just before saying engage low gear. It was pitch black the road was wet and covered in leaves and we went round the corner nice and gently when I managed to loose balance of the bike and the extra wait on the back just pulled us right over. My mate went skighting across the road and I kinda just stood up away from the bike.

The bike fine, a wee scratch on the exaust and the end of the right hand bar but nothing noticeble. The only real damage was my ego.

I actually wondered how long it would take. Im so glad I wasnt going fast as that road is very very quite and there where no other cars around and probably wouldnt have been until the next morning.

Dont know if any of you know the bit of road but its just as you come upto Balmaha, watch out for it its a cracker of a bend and the way the hill just goes straight up kinda throws you off balance.

But we were both fine so thats all that matters.

Sounds like absolutely crap conditions, which hardly help. I wouldn't worry about this too much mate- it's if you manage to do the same thing in broad daylight in the dry on a good surface that you want to worry...
