Dave & I have just returned from doing Level 1 of the California Superbike School.... what a day!!
we have both improved vastly during the day, my track riding feels significantly better & it really was worth every penny!
If you're spending every last penny on trick suspension, shiny things or tuning but you're still not getting round corners any faster then this may be for you!! Highly Recommended!!!
Wanna do level 2 now, asap!!

I've been meaning to do that course for years - must have a look at what dates remain this year.
Did you do it on your own bike?
I used my own bike, like most people, one person only had the hire bike but that's pretty costly.
There were a couple of people who ran wide into kitty litter but no crashes, it's not a track day it's a school, so it's unlikely to damage your bike. Be prepared to work hard and learn - it's exhausting and you do have to be prepared to drop old habits and apply new ones! I just tried really hard to do exactly what I was told (quite a job for me!lol) and it really worked, it's not rocket science but when you put it all toghether it really makes a big difference - had some fantastic feedback from my instructor and I feel much more confident. Still don't enjoy road riding but looking forward to 2 days at Nogaro in a couple of weeks after not really enjoying that track last year.
