That's two days running I've got home with a damp collar. I think the problem is a bit of water getting past my storm collar and being soaked up my by Buff, which then wicks it all over the place. In the winter I wear a balaclava that's got a waterproof neck but it's a bit too warm for that at the moment. Anyone know of a relatively thin waterproof/resistant equivalent of a Buff?

In these hard times: Carrier bag with a hol in it?
Nothing wrong with a carrier bag my boots have started letting in water and I'm using bags at the moment until I can get myself some new boots
As a further suggestion I think you'll find it might also be useful to have a couple 'roughly in the vicinity' of the eyes too.

Make sure the "hol" (hole) is somewhere adjacent to your gob or you might encounter one or 2 difficulties.
