Just seen a lovely 900 blade for sale, £1500 with 12,000 on the clock.

only thing wrong is the nose cone has a "slight" crack on it, Ive not seen it but im told its nothing too big.

Id want it perfect so how much is it for plastic repairs and painting or does anyone know where I could find a 900 nose cone? I know they arent cheap and start from £200 up most times.

'Perfect' is a lot to ask for with a £1500 bike.

No doubt there wil be other bits and bobs you will need (want) to do, maybe furry or corroded fixings etc.

Back on topic though, there is a company near me that have quoted to repair my 748 fairings, and the nosecone, one side panel and seat repair incl. painting is £200.

For a nosecone on its own I guess around £150, depending on how many colours it has / decals etc. (The Ducati is quite lucky as it is only one colour)

fixings etc dont bother me in the slightest, I had to replace/repair all my daytonas when I bought it cost me nothing.

Im just getting the big costs out of the window first. So I know actually how much the bikes going to cost.

carbs will most likely need doing very soon thats another cost (unless I do it myself)

caliper rebuild, hose changes etc are all things I could do myself on the cheap though.

Thanks for that though, I seen the fairing nose but id need it painted gives me a start though.

now to convince the MRS that I need a 3rd bike.
