My Hayabusa does that a lot,it's just unburnt fuel going through the pipes and hitting off the insides of your hot exhaust. That's the best case scenario.Worst case scenario someone has maybe set your fuelling too rich for your cans so it's worth getting it checked out to ease your mind, that's if the fuelling needed adjusting at all, some cans don't need the fuelling matched to them.Luckily with mine i know for a fact there isn't a fuelling problem as the bike is burning all the fuel thats getting pumped in as i've checked the plugs and it's been dyno'd.Your bike maybe isn't burning it all!If your bike hasn't been fitted with a Power Commander(like mine)someone has maybe just adjusted the fuelling from the ECU(like mine)and they've set it far too rich.Try and get your bike on a rolling road to see if there's any weak/rich spots in your fuelling all through your rev range. If you tinker with bikes yourself pull all your spark plugs out and check they are all a nice beige colour(black too rich, white too weak mixture). If your bike runs fine then your fuelling maybe isn't too far out but just needs a little tweaking, mines pops and farts all day but runs sweet as hell:-)

Had my bike in the garage the other day pulling all my electrics apart to clean them as my bike cut out the other day(dampness i hope)it's been fine since so when i was in the garage after i flung everything back together, revving it highly to see if it was revving clearly, out of the corner of my eye i saw a bright light, couldn't believe what i saw,the huge pops and farts i get when backing off the throttle were throwing out these huge bloody flames!I was wondering why i always getting these funny looks:-/
