I've got EBC HH pads which I'm happy with.

Trouble with asking for advice on brakes is everyone has their favourite and anything else will see you in flames in a ditch.

OE Suzuki pads are not great IMHO.

I like SBS Street Excel for road & a bit of track use.

OP - Does your bike have braided hoses as the original rubber will very much past their best by now?

I got a set of EBC for the Daytona as the original triumph ones were £80.

for the £40 I paid, I'm very happy. 5 track days out of them so far. Although they are getting a bit low now.

EBC HH here on my SV650, they made a good improvment to the braking eprfomance over other pads I tried.

Reputed to be reletivly kind to discs as well

Just to say I use Wemoto and they've always been good.

Not a Gix(x)(x)er owner, but I buy genuine pads for my Honda. The mixed reviews and questionable savings of other brands mean I wouldn't bother. They all meet the same minimum standard however so I would if I was skint.

I have EBC HHs in my Hayabusa & my Dad in his Fazer.

Both happy with performance but they are quite loose in the calipers & make hell of a knocking sound on rough (cobbled) surfaces, we're not the only ones to experience this too.

Yes, I'd never expect anyone to sell counterfeit goods on ebay, that sort of thing just doesn't happen.

Buy from UK seller, with lots of feedback.

Many businesses are ran like this today via eBay.

The protection is also much more stringent now

I was only being half-serious, a lot of UK shops do have good prices on their ebay store, likewise their Amazon marketplace stores, if they have them. That said, there are probably some ebay crooks out there selling compressed cow dung as brake pads.

I've used loads on the R1's ... the RS are superb. Highly rate them and are sensible money too unlike most race pads.
