Looking at R1s

Ideally wanted Lava or Grey/Black

Been offered Blue R1 54 Plate 15K, Full Yam History

No added crap apart from to Akra's (which is a mod I would do)

£3300

Good price or not

Not sure whether to hold out for few months and try and get a colour I really want

Now if you had said "Fireblade" even the car drivers would know what it is and even describe the tailpipe(s). wink

It's a good price but £3500 will get you any colour you want on that plate tbh so just wait for the right colour to come up.

One thing to watch for is brightly coloured brake fluid. It sends the bike into meltdown

If the service history is good, and the current condition of the bike is good (tyres, pads / calipers, chain and sprockets, forks and rear shock, engine...no leaks etc, bearings) then go for it - I think that's a steal

[edit] red key...make sure it's with the bike

It's spot on now ... freshly serviced too. The right offer and I will let it go.
