I have the option of an '04 model at a VERY good price. I liked the ride, bit sit-up-and-beg, but thrashy engine was fun for the money... shall I? or do I pay £3000 more for a ZX6 ? + extra £600 insurance?

Mmmm. What a delicious dilema. Two bikes I like, neither of which is slow, but one is for me.. the other is not.

Help me choose!

I had a Z750 from a dealer you may be familar with from Letchworth. It was as a loan-bike whilst my RSV was being serviced.

I thought it was a great bike and ended up on the tailpipe of a CBR600RR from Codicote to Hitchin. And through the lanes from Codicote to Harpenden it was easily faster than my RSV on the crappy surfaces. (Or maybe it just felt faster!)

1.1 to 1.2 was enough for me, though, with the windblast.

yup. It was quite impressive for a "budget" bike. So much so I may get one...

Say hi to Neil, Mark, and Mike if you're in there. They know me of old! Bought too many bikes there.

Its a lovely looking bike, but the Z1000 looks absolutely gorgeous.

I've got an old Zx6R (G1)

I'd love to trade it for a Z750 and would kill to get the z1000

They look great but without making you look silly if you choose to just cruise.

Hopefully it'll keep you at slightly slower speeds so you can keep the license for longer!

One of the lads on the VTR List has one, says it keeps up with bigger bikes ok, loves it. I think it's Krytens bike, myself.
