I've got a 2000(W) Ducati 748 and have seen several Power Commanders for offer on ebay saying they're suitable for the 748.

I don't know of anyone who's done this - do you?

If so, let me know as I'm sorely tempted to try and squeeze a bit more out of the bike...

TIA.

Don't go for the power commander, they are off the shelf and are still a generic map for the bike. If you have 45mm termi's fitted, go for a free flow air filter and an Ultimap Chip from somewhere like Moto Rapido or JHP and get them to map it on the rolling road. I think I paid £175 for mine and then £75 for the rollling road set-up. The bike has no flat spots now and pulls very linear from all revs. They will also raise the rev limiter if you so wish; I would not recommend this.

After that an 853 conversion is available but for considerable cost. You may consider upgrading to the 996/998 if that is the case.

Check out Sigma Performance www.sigmaperformance.com/index.html
They do all sorts of tuning on Dukes, eg Ultimap £125
Plus there's lots of examples of different tunings with Dyno charts etc.

Can also vouch for Neil @ Sigma. Nice guy, who knows his stuff. Also you may want to speak to the guys at Baines Racing (in Silverstone circuit) before making a decision.....
