Ah, I have two of those I use for the track and occasional road use. First four (bike) videos are footage taken directly from them:found somethgin similar, has anybody used this one?: http://motorcycle.roadhawk.co.uk/roadhawk-ride-r-c...

I used GoPro's in the past and I really like the roadhawk/dogcam as its much easier to mount, good 1080 quality footage and comparable batter life (1-1.5hrs) and can be wired into the battery and will start each time it receives power. It also loops the recordings so just stick a 16gb or 32gb card in and forget, unlike some other brands.
OK, been running the wired roadhawk HD+ bullet cams since making the first post .... but ... have just been let down when it matters. Turns out it has been saving every other video file, and the file it missed was the chap being hit by a car who could of done with the evidence. I wonder how long it has been doing this(!)
What other cameras are people using? If I can't find a reliable hard wired I may have to look for a rechargeable one that is removable, problem is that I do just over 2 hours a day.

That one looks quite reasonable.
This looks a lot better than the Roadhawk. Had two of them, one DOA out of the box and returned. Second one went south about 2 years later. Average picture quality also. Could not recommend Roadhawk.

Yes this is what my Roadhawk did. Would also just switch itself off sometimes, even when it had power. Totally useless. Not fit for their purpose. I should have returned that useless heap of junk under the sale of good act.Gassing Station | Biker Banter | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
