As above, is it worth shelling out for?

I can't get BT Sport any other way, well apart from using the android box but that can be hit and miss.

Don't want BT internet or Sky.

I know the obvious answer would be yes as I'm stuck with it as my only reliable option, but is it as good as the BT sport coverage, is the commentary the same or completely different..etc?

Got rid of BT as they started to charge more and went MotoGP video pass. Different commentary and lots of little extra bits from bike tech to behind the scenes. Only problem I had was the last race of the season and either my internet provider or the MotoGP site stopped me watching most of it!

£150 seems like quite a bit of money. How does that compare with BT pricing?

When MotoGP went off BBC, I said i'd never pay for it.... Well, with such an exciting season last year, with 6 races to go there was an offer for the videopass on MotoGP.com for €40 so I took it up.

The coverage is great and the fact i can watch it wherever i am is a bonus (TV/Ipad/Phone etc.) I'm a big fan of their commentary team and they do some good mid-week and behind the scenes stuff. There's also a spoiler free link, so if you can't watch the race live you can log in with no fear of finding out the result and watch it when it suits you.

Would i buy it again - Yes. In fact i already have. I don't bother with the multiscreen, just the normal pass for €99 and i'd highly recommend it. Way cheaper than BT and if you're a big fan there's plenty on offer, even all the archive footage of previous races.

Like others, i had issues with the picture freezing during the last race of the season due to the volume of people logging on to watch it. If we get a similar end to this season, I'll just wait til the race is over and watch it afterwards which should stop any issues.

Yoda.

I started a thread 6 months ago about BT Sport reducing my monthly sub from £19.99 to £9.99. This was due to me being such a good customer of theirs, which was odd as I'd barely been with them a year for MotoGp. Anyway, some helpful mod decided to move it somewhere else where it became lost in the st that is PistonHeads that I pay no attention to.

I rang BT to cancel my subscription which prompted their offer. Whether they are still doing this, I know not...but might be worth a try...

[edit] I get it via Sky

I'm clearly having a senior moment, because I can't find an option to do this - I'm just seeing the multiscreen option. Can you share the link to buy the normal pass?

I've looked at buying it in previous years and got offered both options, but this year it only offers me the multi screen option

I get it free and live without pop ups.
The only thing I haven't sorted out is recording it live.
Pm me.

Just looked at this for the start of the season. Motogp.com is going to cost £155.93 plus any card charges because it charges in Euros. The pass lasts until 14 Nov 2016.

BT Sport on my Sky box on a one month rolling contract is going to cost £209.92 total (£30 activation, £19.99 for 3 months then £23.99 for remaining 5 months to end of season).

I liked BT Sport and have watched it up until I ditched Virgin last year (still preferred Moody / Julian et all in Eurosport days though smile)

Will have to look into this Kodi thing.......
