Sorry, Bike insurance question.
Discussion
There's a few years (8) between us but for my CBR6, middle area on insurance scale, garaged, 5000 miles, 0 NCB, 0 yrs exp. 450 quid TPFT.
Gives you an idea for starters.
As a comparison, Cerbera, 5 yrs NCB, garaged, Fully Comp, 700 quid.
Girlfriends Focus 1.6, 4 yrs NCB, driveway, 420 quid Fully Comp.
I know cars don't really compare but it gives you something to price against if you also have a car.

Well i'm 23 and last June (at 22yo) I insured my Bandit 600, one hour after passing my test, for £350 TPFT. I live in a nice neighbourhood and its strapped to a ground anchor, but its not garaged. That was unrestricted mileage, passenger provision and TPO on other bikes.
That was with Adrian Flux/Bikesure.

bike insurance is more bent toward experience than cars, and no matter what bike you have, its going to get heavily loaded with under 2 years experience and 2 years licence ownership.
often the firms will even ask, "how many years in the past 5 have you ridden regulary?"
a scheme that covers them regardless of licence and having insurance on a bike
