Woohoo!

I spent yesterday afternoon refitting the forks, brakes and front wheel and it now handles even better than ever. I put slightly thicker than standard fork oil in (15w40) and they're nice and firm now.

Next step is to MOT it and inform DLVA and my insurers - then i'm back on two wheels!

I've just rung around the various insurers and it turns out that technically my bike ISN'T a write off - they just chose not to repair it.

I have the old girl booked in for its MOT, checkover and new front Bridgestone in the morning. Fingers crossed!
