Rear Tyre/Please advise
Discussion
The way I understand it, exessive heat cycles will bring out the rubber colour.
Its not dangerous, but it might mean you need to alter your tyre pressures on the track. My pilot powers are recommended as 42 road, 34 track. A big difference.
Not suggesting your need to go lower, as too low will encourage heat build up.
They arent knackered though.

I don't think the change in colour necessarily means that much, but after that amount of time and with the track days that you've done, the tyres will have degraded somewhat from their original glorious stickyness. I'd change them if I was wanted ultimate grip, although I'd keep them if I wanted to slide the back on the track.
