Just goes to prove that the Congestion charge has nothing to do with reducing congestion and everything to do with making money.

How soon before walkers and cyclists are subject to the charge?

This is not a congestion charge it is a Toll!!

What a bloody farce! Here's the real motivation behind it though I'll wager. On the last Bikesafe day I attended, I heard that The C-charge was too effective, meaning that TfL were losing money. They're just targeting bikers to bring in revenue.

Those F*C*I*N* C*N*S.. I can't believe it.. the ....ing bullsh*t "CON"gestion charge is a complete farce, it still takes forever to get round central london in a car even between rush hours.... this is totally wrong and should not be allowed at all, as the TAX name suggests "congestion charge" - it's there to relieve congestion If everyone rode scooters or bikes then london Would be congestion free with acres of parking.. I can see alot of the looney couriers will be getting clone plates.. hmm anyone interested I can see the new best selling product "Sticky Dirt in a Can"..

I work as a courier atm (can't get an IT contract) and this will def. stop me going into London(won't be cost-effective anymore), which will def. impact my earnings....as most of the work are runs from hospitals outside london to those inside....

Time to look for a 3rd carerr.....
