FxxKING THIEVING SCUM
Discussion
Awoke to a noise of a bike chain dragging across the ground around 5am last night and looked out the window to see my pride and joy being lifted into the back of a van. Instinctively I shouted at full volume OI, WHAT THE FxxKING HELL ARE YOU DOING, and said scum dropped the bike and made a run for it.
Had it not been for the fact I was standing there butt-naked, I would have given chase, but by the time I threw on some clothes and bolted out the front door, they were gone. Not only did they leave my bike in a rather sorry state, they also left the (stolen) van in which they were trying to load it.
Although I don't have a garage, I thought the bike was pretty well secure (huge ABUS chain and lock bolting the back wheel to a cemented-in ground anchor; sold-secure front disc lock; the most advanced alarm/immobiliser the dealer could offer; bike hidden under a cover at all times when parked), the scum still got it right under my very nose.
Now waiting for SOCA to come and fingerprint etc, and then the RAC to take it away for repair.
To say I'm gutted and absolutely boiling over with rage is an understatement.
Here is what the bike looked like before:
Here is my daughter getting her first go only a few days ago:
..... and here is how they left it after running off:
No real point to this thread other than to remind you all to keep your bikes locked away and to be vigilant.

Did you manage to see enough of them to get a description to the Police?
I got a real good look at one of them as he stared at me shouting from the bedroom window (like a rabbit caught in headlights), so that description is with the police. That, plus the fact they had to abandon the stolen van may lead to something. Here's hoping.

I'm supprised your alarm didn't go off when they started moving it though? The one on my old Aprilia was only a cheap job but would go off at the slightest movement of the bike.

the cnuts should be sung up by their bollox. Hope there isn't too much damage to the bike and the police find something in the van that they can use.
I'd leave it in a mates garage for a few nights though, they might come back. Or you could keep a big maglite nearby and wait by the back door. Either way, I hope something very nasty happent to the bastids!!!

Hardly! These people have no respect for society. Better without them than with.
I got to admit that I'd use my air rifle and CO2 air pistol on anyone trying to break into my house or steal anything from my property.
I'd also put my rifle butt to good use too. (I hear it's quite painful).

Fukcers want to get their hands chopped off. You want to keep a Air rifle near the bed just in case they try for another go in the next few days.
Except in this country he'll get 6 months in prison for using the Air Rifle and the thieving c**ts will get let off with a warning! Makes me sick
