Now I'm guessing I'm being really thick here but racedad and I just couldn't get our heads round the maths
The 2 stroke screamer has eaten yet another piston, this time due to the 2 stroke oil pump packing in, so we're put it back together and bypassed the pump so premix has to be used.
The required dose is 25/1 I've just filled it a litre at a time using a premix mixer bottle I have, but we just couldn's work out what the mix was in real volumes, when someone explains it I'll be as I'm guessing it's going to be stupidly simple, so for every litre of petrol how many ml of oil do I need to chuck in the tank

1ltr = 1000ml therefore 1/25th of 1000 is 1000/25 = 40

40ml it is....

The secret being to convert all units to the same thing before any calcluations are done

I used to go on runs on a Sunday morning with my brother, him on his NS400R, me on my GSX600F. I can still smell the 2 stroke.

If I ever got held up and lost sight of him I could find him by sniffing and looking for the blue mist.

I'm getting all nostalgic
