New lid - did I get a bargain?

Hi Guys,

Yesterday I bought a new lid as mine has been bashed so many times it probably offers the protective qualities of a tea cosy!

Anyway, I found a Shoei Z-One in red, with Yamaha logos on it - reduced from £400 to £169.99. It seems really comfortable and appears to be a good lid. The Yamaha logos aren't ideal, but a few stickers should sort that, but just wondering if it really was as much of a bargain as it appears?! Is it a good lid?

That's a very good price for a Z-One. That's what I've got and I paid 200 notes for mine, and that was in a Hein Gerricke sale as they were shifting all their Shoei stock out.

As for the stickers, just buy a Yamaha, save you no end of hassle.

Ive got two Alpinestars stickers covering two of the logos, and an Ogri one covering another. There are still a couple of logos visible, but I don't much care.

Do you have trouble keeping the chin curtain on? Is it any good anyway?
