Not sure who has seen this magazine yet, but they have what looks to me a very good section on setting up pre-load for your bike.

As you can probably guess from my login name I am no "slim jim"! As I ride an SV650s I think that the bike could be better setup for my weight, and this seems easier that giving up beer and fast food.....

The equation in the mag to work out the best settings is to use the total wheel travel, that you should find in your bike manual. I have looked in my manual and this figure is not there.

What I am asking is, does anyone know what the total wheel travel is for an SV650s K4?

Thanks

Not sure what it is... But go to:

www.sv650.org

Log onto the forum and ask away, someone there will know; it is a complete fountain of sv knowledge and other bikes!!!!

Sorry to go back to this again!

I have tried to register with sv650.org, numerous times, but have still not managed to get an account so that I can use the forums!

Does anyone have an answer to this? or an account on sv650.org where they can ask the question?

I am also looking for the same info for an SV1000S K3, and I presume the measurements for front and back will be different - so will require both for both bikes.

Many Thanks
