BMW discounts?
Discussion
A bit of a long shot, but does anyone have a handle on what discounts should be available from Motorrad dealers in the U.K. on a new bike purchased before the end of this month/current quarter? I am on the brink of buying an R1200 RS Sport and any such intelligence would be great before I engage with the dealer. Thank you.
It's very variable. At the end of last year/start of this year Cooper BMW in Sunderland had a batch of R1200RS with about 10% off. I think they were all pre-registered with nominal miles (less than 20), and once they were gone there was little or no discount available.
You may have better luck getting some sort of discount built into a finance package.

BMW Wollaston took 10% off for me and dropped the PCP APR from 9.9 to 5.8% on my S1000R the last few days of June...
I also asked for free fitting on some accessories I bought and a free first service, which they did and they've just done the same for my Dad who bought a G310R from them last week, not such big numbers on the little bike but we got £300 off it and the free service and free delivery etc.

BMW Oxford had money off and 0% across their heritage range recently, might be worth a phone call. They have a German sausage van there tomorrow too...
Not sure I like German sausage enough to drive the 700 mile round trip for some.I'll give them a call about that deal as they are all quoting the same 7.9% and no contribution. If one of the dealers chucked in a discount I'd be seriously tempted and if it was 0% I'd take 2.

Recently walked past, it looks like £1850 contribution but only with finance at 7.9%.
Thanks, that makes it comfortably affordable for me.Gassing Station | Biker Banter | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
