Good morning bb! I have spoilt myself to a second camera but still have the old gopro Id like to run as PIP

Is there software (Ideally free or not costing the world) that can do this thats easy to use - Im not great with technology & gadgets

I have got a cheap Virb Elite thingy for the front and a Go Pro 3+ I got a few years back which I'll use facing back. I want that video to be in the corner of the main video coming from the Virb if that makes sense

Interested in this as well. I have the TomTom bandit but I don't like the TomTom editing software which is meant to be it's strong point but it's probably just me.

First question?

Mac or Microsoft?

then depends what you using. For me and my Go pro's i've used their own software. or Mac video editing which is easy to use

If it was Microsoft I would be using windows movie maker.

nothing fancy or expensive. got to be better out their but over the years I've just wanted something simple to use.

I don't video blog. so plenty of experts should be along soon

Do you have GoPro studio somewhere if you have a GoPro already? It's been discontinued and replaced by the lightweight GoPro Quik - https://shop.gopro.com/EMEA/softwareandapp/quik-%7...

But you can still get Studio - https://www.techspot.com/downloads/6759-gopro-stud...

Or Windows movie maker if you don't already have it - https://www.windows-movie-maker.org/

Or you could try one of these - http://www.techradar.com/news/software/application...

Great thank you. The tech radar page will give me a few to try

I know the gopro one now called quik doesn't do it (I tried) it's a good app that but very specific to gopro only

I tried this mobile app and it seemed to work well but I should've made the overlay video smaller

Have it hidden in YouTube but you can see it here https://youtu.be/Wt1XG51WQ6I

I think tbh that'll be good enough for what I want. I used a couple old videos for the test but I really want it for simultaneous rides showing front and back

Got the rear gopro now setup for it

Quick update for anyone that cares

Garmin virb are am excellent video capture device and the gps + WiFi means you can have all that clever overlay ams lap times etc

However... The wind noise these things pickup is horrendous. It makes the gopro look phenomenonal! I'm getting an external mic which doesn't look great but under the dash is a big no no

Next place is under the seat... Failing that I'll have to try block the standard mic to stop the noise

Anyone else got experience with one of these?
