As title, has anyone run these yet?

Are they much better than the original Rosso Corsa?

IE worth buying a set and binning off a half worn front and swapping both rather than just replacing the rear with an original Rosso Corsa?

I'm watching this one as it'll be my next summer tyre. Read up on them and really hoping they can give supercorsa grip with longevity and better cold/wet riding

Running the Rosso Corsa 3 and really like them. Didn't back to back them with the 2 but they've got good grip and seem to wearing well on my 600.

Same. I'm on the Michelin Power RS at present, but after two sets its time to try something new again ... I loved the Pirelli Diablo Rosso 3, so interested to see how the Rosso Corsa 2 compares.

I'd looked at Michelin RS and Metzler RR but always assumed they're more comparable to Super Corsa's and there for not ideal for cold and wet.

Might wear out the rear a bit more, if the weather ever turns, and then hopefully there'll be some feedback on the DRC2 by then.

IIRC it is:

Supercorsa > Rosso Corsa 2 > Diablo Rosso 3 > Angel GT in order of track to touring use.

The Michelin RS / Metzler RR are good road based sports tyres that work in the cold / wet and will happily do a couple of track days.

Ah ok. How have you found the RS on the 14b?

I've only run DRC on mine, and my last 3 bikes before that so I'm a little sheltered to the alternatives..

Absolutely fine... it's done great in all weathers as most modern sports road tyres are now these days in all honesty.

I was initially concerned when I bought them as the compound is rather soft compared to the previous tyres I've had so didn't think they would last long, however 4000 miles in and they still have life yet!

Im on the metz rr same as a rosso 3 and just want that bit more so my thinking is the new corsa 2 could be just what I need for mainly fast road

Is the mich rs in the same category as the metz rr?

Good question... I would presume so, but the RS replaced both the pilot power 3 and the power cups iirc, so possibly not... I'd go with the Rosso Corsa 2's as well if I were you.

I really liked the DRC, but was not impressed with the RC2 (which was fine in the dry and above 10 degrees, but nothing else really). The RC3 is a much improved tyre and right for my summer usage and limited skill. I’d expect the DRC2 to be very good to, so am waiting to hear reports.

Anyone run these Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa 2 tyres? Looking to stick a set on my 14 Big Bang and my brothers RSV4R?

I am a big fan for the Metzler M7RR becuase they were awesome on my old Kwack. Cold or wet, the feedback and grip were great. I was thinking that these Pirelli's would move the game on from that tyre and hopefully take it forward as these are the latest ones.

Fast road all seasons (apart from deepest winter) road tyre with one or two track days thrown in.

Any feedback appreciated.

You would be much better off with a Bridgestone S22.

The new Corsas haven't been well reviewed from what I have seen.

Ive had them on for about 1500 miles now, was running Supercorsas (what my MV came with) for the previous 3 years (set or two per year) Road use only in dry weather. I figured i would try the next tyres down in the range which are supposed to be the road sports tyre anyway. Supercorsas seem to be overkill for me for road use.

In 1500 miles of mixed, cool weather use, I cant say I've noticed any negative difference from the Supercorsas. This is for quick road use. Im not testing the traction control on corner exits, or drifting it out under power like many of our internet hero tyre testers. Just regular spirited road use.

So lets see how long they last over this summer. I was probably getting 2k miles at best out of the Supercorsas on a bike I do 2500 to 3000 miles a year on. If I can get 3400-4000 miles out of these I will be happy, the change served its purpose. No loss of performance for my circumstances and 1/2 the running costs.

I have them on by 14B and they're good. Done a couple of TD's on them and they held up well. More than good enough for me on road and on track. I am a total fair weather pansy though. So not used under 10 degrees or been caught in the rain yet on them.

Thanks fella's...

Still undecided but the rave reviews did impress me. I found that the M7RR was superb and am in two minds to go for that again.

A supercorsa is best suited for track or bright warmer days. Being in the UK we need a multitude of conditions covered.

Pondering...
