R.I.P. Kamchat / John
Discussion
It is with great sadness that I post this thread on here, but I think a few of you folks might have known him or talked to him on the forums
Kamchat aka john a former MCN Forum member died in a motorcycle road accident on the 21st april, although I never met the guy we talked regularly on the forum, and I guess some of you will have done so too
R.I.P Kamchat
Sincere Condolences to your family and friends for their loss

It's a great thread with some great photos, but a sadly prophetic title
I decided to remove the link last night as a certain person who didn't actually comment on this thread went over on the link I posted and commented on his thread speculating on what happened, citing rider error when the actual facts haven't been released ..... His thread on there had replies from his family and friends wishing condolences, it was not the place for apportioning where the blame lies .... So thanks for that (mystery pistonheads poster) .... Try looking up in the dictionary tact...... And yes poo at Paul's that was a great talent of his photography and he'll be sorely missed Edited by orangefzr on Wednesday 2nd May 12:31
Blimey , though I'm late replying to this , I have just googled MCN forums to see if anyone is around from the forum a decade or so ago . And I see a name that was on there a lot. Kamchat. Also remember hearing Ducatiboy999 had died in past. And a few others. Seems like yesterday was having a laugh in that forum. But I guess there prob a few that have gone .......sad. one minute enjoying life , second later gone. Keep safe on bikes all, Stingy 1
Not wishing to take anything away from the original post and of course i am sad to hear this. But i feel bike deaths seem to go under the radar somewhat compared to many early exits from the planet. A local lad of just 17 died late last year and the local paper had 3 lines on it yet paragraphs of coverage when people pass on in other ways. It's almost as if the major press feel that you deserve it as you're on 2 wheels not 4.
Kevin Ash, a guy i rode with once on a Scotland trip, who many of you may remember was a great motorcycle journalist, bike fanatic, 2 wheel spanner guy and a good family man but got nowhere near the respect and coverage he should have.
