So what happened was.....

A normal residential road and this taxi takes up the entire road picking up a fare, so i wait behind it, leaving about 10 feet, until it moves off, assuming of course it would take the more driving forward approach, i wasent quite expecting it to reverse straight at me.....but it did.

Straight into my front wheel, pushes me back 6 feet until it finally stops. Moon pig gets out and says "Sorry didnt hear you".....errr yeah what a mistake.

I kept the bike up and i remained 'emotional' for some time after this. Some talk about her parenting and the positive applications of any of 3 mirrors her car has and then i felt better.

Bike gets recovered, wont take the chance and dealer says no damage what so ever, not even a scratch. Quite a day. Then it rained. I really should be noisy more often.

Be careful out there.....its a jungle.

Same happened to me a couple of weeks ago, accept i was just parking up bike for less than 15 seconds to post a stamp, just getting off bike and plonker in front of me just reverses back, even after he contacted me he still kept reversing??He did give me £90 there and then though(which i spent on sweeties and stuff since i'm quite handy with a spray can)I thought with a Hayabusa not being the smallest bike in the world, plus the lights are on all day, plus the fact im 6ft 3 would have went in my favour slightly but oh no.Worst thing is after just painting the front mudguard(he cracked it all the way across),i repaired it all and then two days ago i was pushing bike back out of the garage, oops,is that an Abu Garcia d lock i hear?:-(

The thing that got me the most, other than the stupid look on her face , was that it would have been quicker and easier to go forward turn around in the cul- de- sac bit and leave. It was twice as far and more effort to reverse. There was plenty of room, my headlight was on and a simple mirror check would have saved all.

I was chuffed with the bike, it took a right smack and came out gleaming. If i'd seen the busa in my mirror, think id got out and run, sounds like he didnt though. Not much help i know.

Its a shame im not the only one, these things could end up badly especially with an artic, they wouldent even register they hit anyone.....nice.

The positive from this. The AA rocked. 50 minutes after the call they recovered the bike to the dealers 15 miles away. Good effort. :
