Low oil pressure

I went out for a little spin over the weekend. Whilst I was out I noticed that at idle revs the oil pressure light was showing on the Mille. As soon as the revs rose, the light went out.

The oil is looking a bit dark and is due a change and just before this started happening I was mucking about practicing hard braking into villages.

I'm hoping that its just some crud in the filter that I've stirred up and that an oil and filter change will sort it. Sound reasonable?

I couldn't see it being any major mechanical wear to lose oil pressure on a newish bike(faulty pressure switch,loose wire?)are there no oil leaks anywhere where your maybe losing the pressure?When doing you oil change if everything is a ok fit a magnetic sump plug and/or a magnetic filter,piece of mind if nothing else so there isn't so much crud flying around the engine :-)Good luck!
