Ducati Diavel - are some feet forward?

Are some (older?) Ducati Diavels feet forward?

I see the 2019 model’s marketed as non-feet forward. Is this a change from some of the previous models?

I thought the Diavel was regular footrests & the X Diavel was the cruiser type footrests...

As above X-Diavel is a feet forward cruiser style by default

Regular (original) Diavel is more like a big naked bike with mid controls

That is confusing Why would someone put mid controls on an X-Diavel? To have a ’Diavel with belt-drive’?

Because they prefer the looks of the X but hate forward controls?

They are quite different in many other ways (apparently) Ducati claim the X-Diavel is something like >70% new

Personally it would be a tough call for me, I rode the original when it came out and its a great bike. If I wanted mids Id be more than happy with a 1/2 price used original Diavel versus spending £18K + on the X with mids
