£35k sounds like quite a bargain (compared to the V4 Speciale which was not that different in road trim from the V4S).
Still, for road use all far too much. Rode the normal V4 recently and even briefly getting into the real powerband meant exploring speeds not really suitable for the road. All a bit shocking. Pull out at 55 to overtake a couple of cars. Give it some acceleration. Hold the throttle for just a second or two extra than strictly necessary. Check speedo. WTF!! Pull brakes...

1,414bhp/t is a lot until the rider gets on. When my fat ass gets on it, that drops to a rather miserable 918bhp/t
When a bike can push me around with >= 1,000bhp/t then I'll be interested. Until then, meh.

You probably gain weight easier than manufacturers gain power (or shed weight), so you could be in for a long wait.

What does this mean for the HP4 Race values???
Yes performance machines are a law of diminishing returns but if GBP35k is in the ballpark that's half the price of a non road legal limited edition which is unlikely to hold its value based on the average values of 'Specials' in the bike world.
If the V4R redline of 16k+ is to be believed howver there's no way that motor won't require rebuilds fairly frequently which at Ducati prices will be a tad salty. Anyone remember the major service cost of the D16's
