Winter deals on new bikes

Does anyone know when any are starting, or what the offers might be.

I want to look for a new bike over the winter, i liked yamaha's deal on the tracer 700 last year (heated grips, heated set, tank bag, belly pan), so am on the look out for any deals that might be decent over the winter.

any ideas what other decent commuter bikes might have good deals/offers on them

KTMs are being reduced, the Duke 390 (possibly a bit slow for you?) is down to £3800 in quite a lot of places, £800+ off.

BIKE magazine always list about 8 top deals every month, near the front of the mag. Guess it depends on what you want.

something middleweight to commute on year round (ice and snow are the only times i dont)

not sure if i want naked, or something with a bit of weather protection like a versys, tracer, or Vstrom

Try a Ninja 650... this is my winter commuter. Very light and nimble and easy to filter. Its also got good wind protection.

Fuel economy is excellent too; I get 65mpg or over depending on how much start stop traffic I encounter.

The only complaint I have is that the rear shock is not very good but then again this is a basic do everything motorbike.

when you see me go past on it, there should be 2 sets of skidmarks, sure you can guess where from, chances are i would also be looking worse then Rawwr with his custom set of leathers on!
