I think the current crop of Superbikes are a bit too much for the road. At least I can’t get close to using their performance potential. I think that lighter with less power is the way to go (of the bikes I’ve owned the two I have enjoyed riding most were the Aprilia RS250 and the GSXR750.

In that vein I just put a deposit on one of these (although not likely to get it until 2020)....

Looks fantastic.

I also had an Aprilia RS250 and massively regret selling, not least because they're worth a pretty penny now.

This or the CCM spitfire foggy edition were the bikes of the show with this winning. The details are exquisite. A bike to park in the living room.

I agree, the Noton twin and V4 are beautifully made.

Thought the Norton superlight was a cracking looking bike, great detail, and if it goes as good as it looks, hopefully a sales success for them
Not sold on the Foggy spitfire, much prefer the flat tracker styled bike to his collaboration.

That's a cool bike.
158kg dry weight = 180kg road-ready, I say.
110hp, 75nm.
That will be fast and in 2nd gear you will be breaching speed limits anyway, just a fraction of a second slower than on a 1000cc. wink

330 and 245 mil discs for a light bike like that - almost as much overkill for the road. wink
