So I've bought a bike unseen ....

... and when I say unseen, I mean unseen, not even a photo of it as whilst negotiating as it was in at a Ducati main dealer where it was being serviced ....
Basically I made a comment on another forum and next thing I know I'm in discussion with a fellow I have never met about a bike I have never seen and 8 days later I have bought it ....
The only pics I have are of all the road kit, lights, panels etc laid out awaiting refitting as its currently in the brand new trackday clothes he bought that have seen 2 days use ....
So the bike is currently north of the border, still at the Ducati dealer along with a few large boxes of 'bits' waiting for me to arrange its collection and delivery to me, which poses another challenge as I have nowhere to put it !!!!!
Knowing the owner of the unmentioned Ducati dealer I was able to get a detailed description of its condition and they have known the bike since new and serviced it for all of its 9k miles, they have just completed a full service replacing a lazy battery and dealing with some other bits all at the previous owners expense, result.
So what have I bought .... a Panigale 1199S as my next track toy, now just need to get the DP fairing kit painted once I have acquired a tank cover ....

Unlikely, currently working on a design with the guy that painted my X-Lite lid, there is already a Martini Pani out there so going for something bespoke I think ....I'm on the Aragon trip in May, look forward to seeing it.
